Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 8, 2026

The Pixeliro Color Picker app (“the app”) is operated by Pixeliro. This policy describes the data the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The app is designed to work offline-first; the network is only used for the features listed below.

What we collect

  • Saved colors and palettes — stored locally on your device. If you sign in to iCloud on your phone, iOS may sync the files through your private CloudKit container — Pixeliro never sees this data.
  • Camera frames + photos you pick — processed on device only to extract a color or a palette. Frames are never uploaded.
  • Anonymous usage signals — crashes and feature use counts via Firebase Crashlytics + Analytics, with the standard iOS App Tracking Transparency prompt for the marketing identifier. You can decline.
  • Subscription receipts — when you upgrade to Pro, Apple handles the payment. We receive a receipt blob to confirm entitlement; we never see your card number.

What we do NOT collect

  • No name, email, address, or phone number — the app has no login.
  • No location data, no contacts, no calendar.
  • No photo library scans — only the single photo you pick.
  • No camera frames leave your device.

Third-party services

  • Apple StoreKit — handles in-app purchases and the Pro subscription.
  • Google AdMob — serves banner / native / rewarded ads to free users. Subject to your ATT choice.
  • Firebase — Remote Config, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging (push notifications), Analytics.
  • Pixeliro Magazine API — read-only fetch of curated articles (Color of the Week, image-palette magazine). No personal data is sent.

Children

The app is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Your choices

  • Decline App Tracking Transparency to disable the marketing identifier.
  • Disable analytics + crash reports under Settings → Privacy in the app.
  • Upgrade to Pro to remove all ads.
  • Delete the app to wipe local data and saved colors.
