Everything you need to know
We check WCAG 2.1 Level AA and Level AAA for normal text (small), large text, and non-text UI components. These are the standard requirements for most accessibility guidelines.
The matrix shows every possible foreground/background color combination from your palette. Each cell shows the contrast ratio and a pass/fail badge. This lets you instantly see all problematic pairs.
The score rates your palette from A to F based on the percentage of color pairs that pass WCAG AA requirements. A score of A means all critical pairs pass.
AutoFix adjusts the lightness of failing colors in the OKLCH color space to meet the minimum contrast requirement while preserving the hue and saturation as much as possible.
We simulate deuteranopia (red-green), protanopia (red), tritanopia (blue-yellow), and achromatopsia (grayscale) — covering the 4 most common types of color vision deficiency.
Yes. Basic WCAG AA/AAA check for up to 3 colors is free. Full palette audit, AutoFix, colorblind simulation, and report export require a Pro subscription.
